Dec Theme

December is quickly moving along - This month we are doing an Author Study on Eric Carle.  We will read several books written and illustrated by Eric Carle.  At circle we will discuss the parts of the book, what is an author and illustrator, vote on our favorite books and explain we we liked those books.

In our dress up area we will have washing babies.

Block area - twinkly lights

Sensory materials - Colored rice with Eric Carle theme bins such as plastic food, caterpillar, butterfly to go along wit the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Farm animals and spider to go along with the book The Very Busy Spider  and more these bins are great to help reenact the story.  Also oatmeal and cooking items to pretend to cook.  We started to open water bins to use at their seats.

Science Table - we have the light table along with different materials to use at this space.

The doll house was back out along with other puzzles, board games, and more!
